“Having had earlier Humax recorders I am very pleased with the new one.
Our Sony TV is no longer supported for BBC i player but the Humax sorts that out wirelessly. In fact with this Humax the 'smart' function of a TV is superfluous, the TV just serving as a monitor.
Having read disappointing reviews of earlier versions' remote controls the latest remote control is well made and a lesson in good design.
If you are looking for good versatile PVR look no further.”

Set-up was very straightforward and remarkably speedy and everything works as it should. Highly recommended.”
“What we missed most after cancelling cable subscription was pausing live tv and this box allows us to do that and also record programmes not easily available on catch up etc.. It’s a good bit of kit and simple to set up - minor drawbacks are not having a light on the front to see whether it’s on and sometimes it can be quite noisy when it boots up or switches off.”

“The package arrived damaged and the unit appeared to have been unwrapped although there was no damage apparent. I reported this to Humax and received no reply. I have since installed the unit and it appears to work fine - I will not purchase direct from Humax in future.”
