“I purchased a FVP-4000T 500GB - Mocha (refurbished) which arrived promptly.
Unfortunately the unit had a fault (only 8% signal in pass through), this also affected the HD performance.
I contacted Humax service and arrangements were made to supply a replacement unit and collect the faulty unit, this was done very efficiently via DPD however the replacement is a Cappuchino model which works perfectly.
Is this your normal procedure when replacing faulty units.
Perhaps you could advise.

“There’s been 2 or 3 occasions when it failed to record one of a series of programmes for no reason that I can see.
Disappointing that you cannot reorder the channel list or hide channels to reflect your viewing habits. Favourites option goes some way to easing this issue.
It should be highlighted that when I emailed for assistance with this product, that it took one month to receive a response. Customer Support used to be very good, which is one of the main reasons that I buy from Humax, but these days appear to have gone.
Unable able to check the details of a recorded program with the touch of a button, which one could do on previous models.”
