“Sent first one back because it kept pixallating and saying no internet reception
Second one started same, so I called out friendly TV engineer who confirmed all signals good
The only thought was that the signal was too strong so he has fitted and an attenduator to reduce the input. I'm trailing this for next week. lets hope it resolves if not I wouldn't recommend this and it will be going back for full refund”
“This is the 2nd one I've bought for friends. They are both oaps , one took to it no problem, the other still coming to terms with it. Thus is no reflection on the machine which is superb . I myself always buy Hi max, still the best recorder.”
“This is the second one of these I have bought, and a very impressive piece of kit it is. The only issues I have are (1)the channel listings are sometimes very slow to populate (although this may be outside the control of Humax) and (2) I had hoped to watched HD content from either machine on the TV linked to the other one, but have had no success with this so far. I need to spend more time on this problem, and probably involve Humax technical, which I will do once the winter months are upon us. (It may be because of my Virgin Internet which has a download speed of 124.5Mbps but uploads at only 5.1Mbps!)”
“Utter rubbish!, failed to start up from overnight unless I switched it off from the mains and then restarted. The server facility was unreliable..sometimes worked and then not! I could not rely on this unit to work every time. I have sent unit back and requested money back. A bit shame as I liked the 3channel recording facility.”
