“Happy, have had various pvr's over the years, they all eventually fail. Fed up with spending a fortune on a new one I thought I would try a refurbished one from a brand I trust. It works, not quite as intuitive as others but it does what it says on the tin. Thanks”

I bought a Refurbished 1800T directly from Humax. It didn't work (apparently a s/w problem [ why ? ] ). A replacement was shipped to me in commendably good time. HOWEVER, their predelivery & pickup email was addressed incorrectly by them and so I never received it [why didn't they action the 'failed delivery' notification ?]. The result was I returned EVERYTHING to them but they only replaced the 1800T box - leaving me without Remote, Power Adapter (WallWort) and manual.
They quickly shipped me a Remote and wallwort but no manual.
A subsequent call to them resulted in no manual ( "we don't have printed manuals..."). What they mean is they don't have Spare manuals. They offered a softcopy which I declined.
I'm awaiting a "managerial decision". Nothing so far.”

“Happy with my purchase. Bought to replace an aging PVR-9300T which was starting to be temperamental at recording sound. Easy to install and set up. Only one small quibble. The "Back" button on the remote control does not work.”
