“I bought my HDR-1800T only for use as a recorder on a second tv, without an Internet connection. The instant record works very well. The ability to rewind or pause live tv is excellent. The menus are well laid out and easy to navigate. Access to the HD channels is a wecome bonus. Everything is quick and easy to use. It was a great price, really good value. Humax were very helpful. The only minor change I would make would be to make the running/standby light a bit more obvious, I have to be seated to see it. I have a Humax DTR-t2000 on my main tv, and bought the 1800t on the strength of my experience of that. I do not hesitate to recommend a Humax recorder.”
