“It seems a bit clunky more of a trial box rather than a reverb as advertised. But once we worked out the remote it does the job - it’s used as a spare box on an older tv and was good value for what we use it for.”
“Very satisfied with the HDR1800T except for one small niggle: the SCART connection my old DVR (a Humax 9200T) used was made immediately the TV was switched on, but the 1800T is quite slow to connect and the TV has to be told to switch to HDMI. Otherwise it's a great machine and performs brilliantly.

“Unit bought for my mother aged 89 who being of her generation didn’t want to spend a fortune and having previously owned a unit from Humax it made sense to get another one for continuity of use. Whilst I didn’t expect a brand new looking unit as it was refurbished I did expect it to operate as a fully functioning device from the people who built it , not some dodgy back street operation. Front panel didn’t seem to fit flush, unit intermittently lost media function I.e. the ability to play recorded programmes. Picture was not at all crisp. Very tardy response when matter was raised with Humax within 9 months of purchase. Still waiting for something...anything from Humax customer support as to how to resolve these issues.
As a refurbished unit I expected it to perform Pproperly from tHe off.
Mostly I’m am exasperated by Humaxs lack of interest.
Next time I will choose a unit from another supplier with decent back up.”
“These and the 2000t ave design fault in that they freeze after being left on foŕ more than a few hours. I have contacted human and had replacements which have the same fault. Come back Topfield 10 years of faithfully service.”
“Unit works fine - BUT - on two occasions I've had to unplug it for a while, as the "media" button was not working - I found out by an internet search that this is a common problem and a common solution. It's irritating, but liveable with.”
