“Disappointed. I have other Humax products including earlier digibox models. All have given good service. Hence I looked no further than the Humax brand again. By contrast this unit has never given reliable service. Will it, won't it boot up when switched on? Will it record? When in use the hard-drive is noisy - sounds like someone dragging a nail across a board. I have contacted Humax twice. All they have been able to suggest is to reset the unit. When this didn't improve matters they suggested formatting the hard drive resulting in the wiping of any of the material the box had recorded. A disappointing and frustrating unit to own and I am disappointed with the response from Humax. I am unable to recommend purchasing one. I am not able to say whether the issues I have had are due to the unit being refurbished or not.”
“Very disappointed as this was meant as a replacement for my Humax 9150T which has a tendency to reboot several times in one evening thereby very annoyingly, cancelling any programme being recorded, although I suspect this is a data recovery exercise from 'somewhere', as it happens only every couple of weeks or so. The 2000T does not have nearly so many of the functions as my 9150, no PIP, SLOWMO, and various shortcuts etc.. Programme search is more arkward and the programme guide poor by comparison. I was keen to view and record in HD, but, pIcture quality was very disappointing...certainly no better than my 9150, which has no HD capability. I returned the product as a result as I prefer my older box”
