Humax RM-L08 Freeview Play Remote Reviews

Very disappointed with this I was expecting it to being just like the old one but doesn’t do half of the things that the old one did , like turning off the tv and changing the inputs. I was expecting it to be plug and play. Might as well brought a cheap copy off Amazon.

After 3 phones & doing a e chat thing, I can't use my handset. Would of liked to talk to a technical support but couldn't. Unable to pair it up with my TV. Not happy!!.

This was a replacement for my original remote control. At first it didn't work bot an email to Humax sorted that out. It would be useful if Hunax supplied instructions with the device. I wonder if this remote is coming from a third party but regardless after my email the remote is an excellent replacement for the original. How long will it last? 4stàrs.

It does the job fine. My best praise is for Humax being so quick. I placed the order one day and it arrived the next morning.

My original 'Remote' that came with the HD Recorder gradually lost button sensitivity on its on/off button such that it became a challenge to switch it on at all. Using a helpline, a disinterested respondent indicated that I needed a new 'Remote' and directed me to the appropriate web page for ordering. It did seem expensive but the replacement works perfectly.

Replacement for original as purchased with equipment. It is a very well laid-out/designed tool. I would like to point out that we have only had the original for slightly over two years and it would be an improvement to construct these items with a 'stronger' return membrane beneath the more frequently used keys such as 'stop/start/FF' etc.
