The world renowned Kizer Vagnino Zipslip is now available as a Heinnie® Exclusive. In collaboration with the designer Michael Vagnino and Kizer we have added some new features to create this exciting new UK friendly folder.
The handle, of course, features the Heinnie® red G10 handle whilst a newly formed blade shape creates a compact design and very practical Every Day Carry tool. The deep carry, removable pocket clip is made from stainless steel and will keep your knife close to through out your working day.
Blade cut outs have been replaced with ambidextrous thumb studs for one handed opening and a double detent lessens the risk of accidental closure during use. The blade is made from 154CM stainless steel and features the Heinnie® 'H' logo. The knife is supplied with a Kizer sticker and cleaning cloth and six replacement screws.

A really well made and quality tool as well have come to expect from anything that HH agree to put thier name too. Very tactile and lovely to hold. Lots of negative comments about one hand opening but really who cares because this is first and foremost a practical tool for use. The double detent is essential for a knife if this sharpness as I've too many trips to A&E from folders folding into my finger . The silly UK laws actually make knives more dangerous but this double detent makes this tool safe and effective to use.

This is my first knife. As I understand it a thumb knob is intended for one hand opening so why is it so hidden. I will either be sending it back (and look for a junzi) or scalloping the handle to see how much that helps.

Well mine was incredibly sharp. So much so that I managed to snag my left index finger. The blade and the G10 scales are beautiful. Personally, I love the weight and reassuring solidity. A proper work knife. So, yes. It is a bit of a job to open with the thumb studs. I'm hoping it will loosen up over time. However, there's always the option of two hand opening and I'd much rather have the thumb studs than not. All in all I'm very impressed with this purchase and I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of it. Delivery was excellent as per.

I am a big fan of Kizer's Zipslip and have two previous incarnations, so jumped at the chance to purchase this Heinnie Haynes exclusive. However, I'm disappointed with this version. The thumb stud is set too far back for me and this makes it uncomfortable and a little awkward, to open. The blade is also dull. It won't take much to sharpen it, but I feel it should be sharper, out of the box. This one is a miss, for me.

Understated, elegant, and simple design is readily apparent. It is one-handed left and right-friendly opening and closing, with two intermediate stops which is an important safety feature. It has barely left my hands since I got it and the fidget factor is perfect.

I'll start by saying absolute first class service from Heinnie yet again with regards to order processing but dissapointed with this one. Looked good on the pics but a few mins in hand I knew it wasn't for me.It has a decent heft to it which gives confidence in use but the thumb studs are useless. I have decent strength in my hands as I'm a landscaper but they're still a struggle. Poorly designed as they're almost smooth with the scales so no grip on top and hardly any gap between them and the handle to get in. Easier just to grip the blade and open double handed, I'll probably just remove them. I passed it to a workmate on a job who did exactly the same, tried the thumstud then straight to two hands. A simple nail nick or original cut out would have been a better option. The blade also needed a few minutes on a high grit stone to finish it off but that's just personal preference. The positive side of this is it's a strong built knife/spring with a finger choil for increased safety and it was cheap with the early offer. Strangely because I don't like it, I decided to keep it and use as a beater to save my favourites. This is just personal opinion though and just as well or our collections would be boring if we all liked the same.

Probably the best value UK legal to carry folding knife.I already own the black n690 version which is already great value. This version is cheaper, has thumb studs and arguably better steel, depending on your use case.It still has the same non-moving spine which means it still has the just over half stop, half stop. Some people don't like this because it can pinch your finger with the choil, but they are babies looking for something to moan about. I always like a big finger choil on a slippy. It still makes the same nice tinny click sounds. There are nicer slippy's and cheaper slippy's but the balance here is very good

Everything the Boker Plus XS HH edition should be but isn't. Fit and finish are superb, blade grind is nearly perfect, good but slightly clunky one handed opening, excellent deep carry pocket clip….in short, everything I wanted from the Boker but didn't get….
