Have slip joint, will travel. The CRKT Symmetry is what happens when your everyday carry becomes your anywhere carry. The ambidextrous folding knife features a classic slip joint, a low profile design, and colourful details that make it the smart choice no matter where you’re headed.
It’s extremely rare to catch designer Richard Rogers of Magdalena, New Mexico without a pocket knife. So he designed the Symmetry everyday carry folding knife to go with him when more substantial blades call too much attention. The high carbon, stainless steel drop point blade is an effective yet understated 2.7” that folds into the symmetrical stainless steel handle. Glass-reinforced nylon accents in the handle pair with an aesthetic blue backspacer and clip elevate the look. With the IKBS ball bearing pivot system, the blade deploys smoothly and is disengaged with a classic slip joint.
Never find yourself without a CRKT pocket knife again.

This knife is very good quality for the money. Feels very much like a gentlemans knife . And the blade was razor sharp out the box. Real nice flipper slipjoint that is a legal edc knife for the UK. Well worth the money.

This is a great little edc to take care of those quick cutting tasks, from opening a box to popping open the indestructible plastic packaging kids toys come in. It closes as quick as it opens which has its pros and cons. You could have put your pocket, open a box, close it and put it back in your pocket in less than 5 seconds (literally… I've timed myself LOL) my only word of caution is don't wear it in your waist band, it's tip up carry and retention (open or closed) isn't where it shines. On one occasion I managed to draw it from my waist band and pull the tip into myself (A classic ID:10-T operator move) would I recommend this knife…. Definelty, but it's place is in the pocket and edc tasks, you won't be whittling a spoon, gutting a fish or building a shelter with this, but you also wouldn't be going to the shop with a bowie in your pocket… each knife has its place and it's important to have at least one of every knife… that's what I tell my wife anyway and so far it's worked for me LOL! Great little EDC

So far so good this knife offers just about all i need for a uk friendly knife. It hasnt let me down yet. Also its super fidgity and easy to open and close with 1 hand while keeping fingers out the path of the blade. And great service from HH the knife turned up around 24 hours after ordering ... thanks HH

I love this knife it looks stylish yet slim, the inserts add a touch of class to this knife. The opening mechanism whilst stiff is easy enough to open one handed still, I find that I open and close my knife against my jeans when out, making it more practical in some ways. The big bonus for me is the blade holds a decent edge and is a legal carry, making it a great ADC

My other folders are traditional two-handed slip locks; I was curious what a flipper would be like. This is an odd little knife. It's slimline and clearly designed to be a pocket EDC for light work. The problem is what happens if you put it in your pocket. Well, two problems - one is that having a blade slot that's open on both sides and not especially well blocked even by the spine of the blade means that it's a pocket fluff magnet. Possibly the bigger problem is that there's almost nothing keeping the blade closed, since the double detent doesn't push on the blade except in the fully open or fully closed positions - and bear in mind the rear of the blade can get pushed easily (especially since it's on the bottom of the knife if the pocket clip is used), because it's designed to be accessed to flip the blade open. It doesn't take much to push the blade past the detent, so the tip of the blade is exposed and flapping in the pocket, and it has a very pointy tip. Maybe this is an issue with all double detents (I don't know), but most slip locks will push themselves closed if anything catches on them - you need significant effort to get them to open substantially. That might be an acceptable price to pay for the one-handed opening (and if you have a suitable shirt or jacket pocket where the rear of the knife won't get bashed, maybe it is). If it's going in trousers, I fear for my manhood. Both of these problems are solved by putting it in a slip case, but then we have the problem that the pocket clip doesn't remove cleanly (I understand - I've not tried): the attachment screws stand proud, so unless they're cut down you can't just have the clean lines of the knife itself. Not the end of the world, but this is a knife that is presumably supposed to disappear into a pocket, and these issues mean it doesn't. Otherwise, I've not given it enough use to test the edge retention, but the flip mechanism works (if you really wanted a letter opener for a shirt pocket that you can one-hand every few minutes), it's cheap (at current prices), it's comfortable enough, and it has some attempt at style (whether or not you like it). Given that my alternative one-handed way of opening a parcel is a craft knife, it could be worse, but I'm not blown away, other than it being an affordable introduction to double-detent flippers. Just don't come running to me if you stab yourself in the leg hands-free...
