It’s extremely rare to catch designer Richard Rogers of Magdalena, New Mexico without a pocket knife. So he designed the Symmetry everyday carry folding knife to go with him when more substantial blades call too much attention. The high carbon, stainless steel drop point blade is an effective yet understated 2.7” that folds into the symmetrical stainless steel handle. Glass-reinforced nylon accents in the handle pair with an aesthetic blue backspacer and clip elevate the look. With the IKBS ball bearing pivot system, the blade deploys smoothly and is disengaged with a classic slip joint.

“Picked one up while on offer...- the blade stock is very thin and does flex even on light jobs, but the blade is hidden while, folded and it deploys very smoothly thanks to the IKBS pivot bearings...It does lose an edge fairly quickly being 8Cr13 steel, but takes an edge again easily enough with a quick strop/few strokes of a ceramic rod.The blue accents and carbon fibre effect textured carbon is a bit tacky IMO, but to each their own; a scale swap if available could improve things...The pocket clip is a bit flimsy and the T6 screws are a pretty soft metal, so exercise caution if trying to adjust or remove. Not my favourite purchase, but for the price I was still glad to pick it up and will go in a jacket when I don't want to risk losing a good knife and anticipate only light tasks for the day...”

“My ideal edc. Light, easy to carry and sharp out of the box, although even better after a bit of work. The easy one hand opening is a big plus. Other alternatives were significantly heavier and I suspect they would be left at home whereas I take this everywhere.”
