“Turf plants still alive 2 weeks after laying so, good, so far. Turf arrived on date specified and was in good condition. Only issue for me was the turf thickness varied quite a bit from just a few millimetres to 6 or 7 centimetres but this may be due to this type of turf. As it is my first "turf" order I wouldn't know if this is an issue or not. Overall the service was good and the turf looks great with various different plants, although it is too early to comment on its flower content as its only April.”

“The plants seem strong and appear to be doing well in all the rainy weather we’ve had. I have a couple fairly minor concerns. The first metre of turf I ordered has a mossy bare patch in it a few inches diameter. I hope and expect that there are seeds in this patch and that the surrounding plants will, in time cover this. Given the nature of the product this is perhaps understandable. My other concern is that there looks to be an area in this same metre of ‘normal’ grass growing. I can provide a photo. This is a concern as there isn’t supposed to be any grass in this type of ‘turf.’ The second lot of (two metres) of the same turf I ordered after the first seems to have bigger and stronger plants in it but I appreciate that this the nature of the product.”

“The floral focus mat seems to be of good quality with strong plants and a good overall density of planting. There is one noticeable gap of approx 6" round with no plants but there may well be seeds in this and given the nature of the product is not, I guess entirely avoidable. I have laid this product over the recommended low fertility soil and after only a couple of autumnal weeks (and LOTS of rain) all seems to be growing well. I hope that a good root system will have developed by next Spring and am fairly confident of a beautiful floral display next year. As I have planted two areas within a lawn I will be fitting lawn edging to hopefully inhibit the encroachment of 'normal' grass into the floral area.”

“Delighted that there were already so many wild flowers in bloom when the matts arrived. After a few days of watering in well the turf picked up nicely.”

“I laid the Meadowmat Floral Focus turf on top of your low fertility soil and it’s taken beautifully! A month later and it’s a sea of tall stems and beautiful pops of colour including red poppies, white and pink daisies, blue forget-me-nots and purple knapweed. Can’t wait to see what else appears!”
