“Ordered the Helvellyn poles in advance of the Transylvania 80k ultra on 28 May. I've used poles for about 10 years on ultras, but wanted something more robust for a technical mountain event of 85k and 5245m. I used the poles for almost all the way, they were great on the steep ascents, muddy descents and for traversing patches of snow. Complete confidence in these poles, excellent kit. They fit comfortably and securely to my Montane via razor pack.”

“The carbon poles were wonderful and with the JCC course being so hilly I got ample opportunity to try them out. I suspect I ended up using them for 75% of the course. They were really comfortable to use and didn't end up hurting my hands. I originally ordered the wrong length but an email I sent on the Sunday of a bank holiday weekend was answered and dealt with almost instantly! Fantastic service.”

“I bought some Helvellyn Carbon Z-Poles and firstly the video on the product page was very useful in learning how to use the poles - to the point with no-nonsense. I've only used the pole once so far for trail running and I'm really impressed. They take the pressure off my poorly knees, give some extra oomph uphill and provide good stability downhill. Can't wait to use them again! The quality of the poles is excellent, look great, they are light and effective and the most cost-effective poles I've found in all my extensive pole research even compared to the bigger brands. Highly recommended, give them a go, you won't regret it!”
