“I had two reasons to consider getting running poles. In the longer term, to help on the hills in certain ultras next year. Secondly, and more immediately, I had a recent experience where I found myself, due to niggles, having to walk for miles during a flat marathon; I had a flat ultra coming up a couple of weeks later and thought they could help propel me forward if the same happened again. I chose the Harriers because they were relatively light and cheap, and very adjustable. They arrived within a couple of days; I had a couple of questions and the company was very responsive through the Facebook page. After a couple of tests locally, I carried them on my flat ultra, and used them for the last 4 miles. The foam handles were very comfortable; the wrist loops worked nicely. I will probably play around with them a bit more, to be sure about the best height for me, but I was really pleased with them.”

“So impressed by these. Light and easy to use. Fit in my bag. Were also a total lifesaver on Mount Etna yesterday after rather a large amount of snow. Great customer service. 100% recommend”

“Excellent product. Used them for the 1st time last weekend for a 23 mile run on the Cleveland Way. Light, strong and fold away nicely. Would definitely recommend.”
