Is the product true to size?
Supposed to be wide fit but not. £120 boots can't now be used. Very disappointed

I purchased these shoes after having purchased a pair of Saracen Boots. I have quite narrow feet and found the Saracens to be a snug comfortable fit. I expected the Trident shoes to be similar. They aren’t. Yes they are comfortable straight off, and lengthwise they are fine, but the width is too sloppy for my feet. I will persevere with a thick pair of socks, but disappointing really.

Too small compared to other purchases in same size, returned for refund.

Not what I was expecting comfort wise, very poor quality for the price, I should have paid the extra few pounds for a different brand .

I think my unanswered email to them says it all: I intend to return my boots due to them being faulty. I didn't buy the boots as seconds but they are dirty/shop soiled inside both boots; on the label on one boot and the inner cuff of the other ( please see images 1&2 attached) plus the RHS footbed is twisted to such a degree that it means there is no support under the arch or heel & the excess insole on the outer edge makes my right foot feel really uncomfortable (see images 3&4) so I am rejecting them as not being of satisfactory quality and not free from defects. When I rang them to check they had not deducted the cost of returning them I spoke to a very rude man who said they didn't have time to acknowledge or respond to emails. Save you money and don't bother!

I had high expectations of these boots after seeing reviews online. However on their first outing, the boots were wet inside. This wasn't just damp from sweat which I experience with my other boots. The tracks I use do suffer from low level flooding (4 inches maximum) and can be extremely muddy as a result, it is SW Scotland after all, but my other boots, which are only ankle cuff versions, cope very well and I've never had wet feet in exactly the same conditions on the same tracks. Very disappointed and I doubt I'll ever try Grisport again as it was a total waste of money. I wouldn't be wearing high boots in Summer when it's slightly drier.
