The slightly thicker texture is down to our skin-first approach. We pack in nourishing ingredients alongside the protection, which does make it a little harder to rub in than a lighter formula. Warming it between your fingers and patting rather than rubbing can help with absorption if you find it useful.

Prickly heat is so often triggered by petrochemicals, ethyl alcohol and pore-clogging ingredients that are common in conventional sun creams. By leaving all of those out of the Scent Free Sun Cream SPF30, we give reactive skin a real chance to stay comfortable in the sun. We are so glad it has made such a difference for you over the years.

We are sorry to hear the Scent Free Sun Cream SPF30 has not been working well for you. The formula is deliberately richer than many conventional sun creams as we build our SPFs as skin-first products, but it should not feel uncomfortably greasy or leave a persistent film.
A tip that can help with application is to warm the cream between your fingers before applying and pat rather than rub it into the skin, which can help it absorb more effectively.
