“I suffer with prickly heat as well as small blisters after sun exposure, both abroad and in the UK. I to try and prevent any rash with antihistamines, moisturiser etc but these are just an extra precaution and adequate sun protection is the obvious preventative measure. I’ve tried various sun cream brands and spent a lot of money over the years, but the Green People Scent Free Sun cream has been the best by far! I’ve used it in the UK during the recent heat wave and abroad in Portugal last week and only had the tinniest amount of heat rash on my arms (which is massive for me because I’m usually covered from head to toe and have a miserable summer!).
The cream itself is quite thick, but soaks in and dries nicely without leaving a sticky feeling. Rubbing it between your hands to warm it up really helps with application. I did experience a small amount of pilling/ flaking for the first few applications but I think I was being too generous with the amount I was applying. Beware that the cream will stain clothing, but the stains were easily removed and that’s something I’m happy to deal with if it means I don’t have a painful rash or blisters. If you’re also a prickly heat sufferer and reading this because you’re considering trying this suncream, I would definitely recommend trying it. For the first time in a long time, I’m looking forward to future summers!”
