The pottery village tour with ForeverVacation was everything I hoped for and more. Our guide, Kim, picked us up in a spotless van and shared fascinating insights into the history of Bat Trang. The hands-on workshop at the museum was joyful—my friends and I were laughing like kids while making cups and bowls. Afterwards, we walked through quiet streets lined with antique homes and beautiful murals. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a smile. The market at the end was heaven for pottery lovers. Kim helped us bargain and wrap our goodies carefully. An inspiring and peaceful escape from the city!

What a beautiful, hands-on day! Our guide, Huong, was a delight—so friendly and enthusiastic about sharing Bat Trang’s history and secrets. The drive from Hanoi was smooth and air-conditioned. We started with a visit to a local artisan’s studio where we saw pottery being thrown, painted, and glazed. Then we had our own chance to play with clay—it was surprisingly therapeutic! Lunch was served in a charming hidden café in the village and was one of the best we had in Vietnam. We ended the day exploring quiet alleys and shopping at the pottery market. I brought back a lovely hand-painted teapot. Thank you, Huong, for making this such a meaningful memory.
