As an artist myself, I was excited for this tour, but it still exceeded my expectations! From the moment our guide, Dao, picked us up, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The drive was smooth and scenic, and Dao shared fascinating background on the Bat Trang village’s 700-year-old pottery tradition. The workshop was the highlight—our teacher was a fifth-generation potter who guided us gently through the wheel process. My clay bowl might not win awards, but it’s my favorite souvenir from Vietnam. We visited the ancient temple, explored narrow alleyways filled with ceramic murals, and had a delicious lunch at a local home. The pottery market at the end had endless treasures. Dao helped us wrap our finds carefully. A soulful, creative journey I’ll never forget!

Our family of four, including two teens, joined this tour and everyone had a blast! Our guide, Phuong Anh, was so patient and energetic, even got our shy son to engage in pottery-making. We were surprised by how peaceful Bat Trang is—so different from busy Hanoi. The hands-on workshop at the Pottery Museum was fantastic, and the artisans were super friendly. We all made small items and had them glazed while we explored the charming ancient streets. Lunch in a traditional courtyard-style home was simple but delicious. We spent our last hour browsing the local market filled with vibrant, handmade ceramics. Thank you, Phuong Anh, for a fun-filled and heartwarming experience!

I wanted something immersive and cultural, and this tour delivered that and more. Our guide, Manh, was a true storyteller who brought Bat Trang’s history to life. We started with a stroll through the ancient village, visiting an old kiln and learning about the symbolic motifs used in Vietnamese pottery. Then came the hands-on part at the pottery museum—I got completely lost in the joy of shaping clay. The artisans were encouraging and guided us kindly. Lunch was served in a family-run cafe under a banyan tree—absolutely magical. I bought a set of handcrafted plates at the market and Manh helped bubble-wrap everything. This was a perfect combination of tradition, creativity, and tranquility.

My partner and I were blown away by the charm and depth of this tour. Our guide, Lan Anh, was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about preserving Vietnamese craft heritage. She shared amazing insights about the community and even introduced us to a local potter who’s been practicing since childhood. We tried the wheel ourselves—it’s harder than it looks, but so rewarding! The Bat Trang temple added a spiritual touch, and the ancient streets made for perfect photo moments. Lunch was home-cooked and served with genuine hospitality. The market was buzzing with beautiful pieces—we couldn’t resist taking home a hand-glazed teapot set. ForeverVacation, you made us feel part of something special!

I travel often, but this tour felt truly one-of-a-kind. From the moment I met our guide, Kien, I felt like I was being welcomed into a family. We started with a cultural briefing in the car, then visited a working studio where we saw pottery being shaped, dried, glazed, and fired. The hands-on session was the most grounding experience I’ve had in months. I shaped a bowl and painted it too! After that, we wandered the Bat Trang ancient village where Kien explained each mural and architectural element. Lunch was unforgettable—served by a lovely couple with stories as rich as their recipes. We ended with a walk through the vibrant pottery market. This is not just a tour, it’s a memory.

The Bat Trang Pottery tour was exactly what we needed—a creative break from the usual sightseeing. Our guide, Linh Trang, was sweet, funny, and full of knowledge. She introduced us to artists who’ve been crafting ceramics for generations. We got to try the spinning wheel ourselves and even took home our handmade pieces after glazing. What I loved most was the slower pace of the village—no crowds, just peaceful lanes and smiling locals. We explored the temple, had a great local lunch, and found unique cups and vases in the market that I’ve never seen elsewhere. It felt like stepping into another world. Thank you, Linh Trang, for such a meaningful day.

My parents and I chose this tour because we love traditional crafts, and it turned out to be one of the most enriching experiences of our Vietnam trip. Our guide, Bao Han, made sure everyone was comfortable and included, explaining even the tiniest pottery techniques with clarity. The museum was impressive, with centuries-old pieces on display. The workshop was fun and informative—my dad made a teacup and wouldn’t stop bragging about it! We visited the Bat Trang Temple, had an authentic Vietnamese lunch, and explored the bustling pottery market. Bao Han helped us choose pieces that were both functional and meaningful. Truly a day well spent!

This was the perfect solo tour experience. I felt safe, welcomed, and inspired throughout the journey. Our guide, Vuong, shared touching stories about his grandparents working as potters in the village. We visited small studios and watched artisans hand-carve their pieces. I got emotional learning about how each item reflects a personal or historical story. Making my own plate felt like creating something sacred. The quiet temple visit gave me time to reflect, and the village walk was simply breathtaking. Vuong also helped me find a special gift for my mom. This tour fed my creative soul—thank you, ForeverVacation and Vuong.
