I joined with a group of friends and we still can’t stop talking about this experience! Our guide, Nhi, was fun, attentive, and super knowledgeable. We learned the entire process of pottery-making, from mixing clay to final glazing. We all got to try shaping pieces on the wheel—it was hilarious and surprisingly calming. The ancient village felt like stepping into a storybook. Lunch was served by a local family and the flavors were unforgettable. The pottery market was the final cherry on top—we each picked out our favorite items and Nhi helped with packing tips. This was the most bonding and creative day we’ve had in Vietnam.

I was nervous about trying a craft I’ve never done before, but this tour turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip. Our guide, Thuy, was incredibly supportive and explained each step of pottery-making in a way that was easy to follow. I ended up creating a small dish that now sits proudly on my shelf. The museum was filled with inspiring pieces, and the old village was like something out of a movie—colorful, peaceful, and full of charm. We had a lovely homemade lunch and spent the afternoon exploring the pottery market. Thuy also gave me great recommendations for other cultural experiences in Hanoi. I left with clay-stained hands and a full heart.

This tour was everything I didn’t know I needed on my Vietnam trip. Our guide, Chau, was incredibly warm and attentive, and made the entire experience so seamless. From the moment we left Hanoi, we were immersed in the stories of Bat Trang—how the pottery village has evolved, and why it's still so beloved today. The workshop was amazing! I never thought I'd enjoy spinning clay so much. Chau made sure we had gloves, aprons, and full support from local artisans. After our creations were done, we walked through the ancient streets, capturing moments that felt like paintings. Lunch was in a lovely traditional courtyard with a spread of authentic Vietnamese dishes. We finished at the market, where I picked up a handmade incense burner and a bowl to match the one I made. Thank you, Chau and ForeverVacation, for making this tour feel like home.

I was celebrating my birthday in Hanoi and decided to treat myself to something creative—this tour was the perfect gift! Our guide, Mai Linh, surprised me with a tiny ceramic trinket as a keepsake. The pottery-making session was beyond fun—messy in the best way—and surprisingly meditative. The museum gave great context to what we were doing, and the artisans were so encouraging. Walking around the ancient village afterward felt like wandering through an open-air gallery. We stopped at a hidden temple where Mai Linh lit incense for me—it was emotional and beautiful. Lunch was fresh and full of flavor, and I ended the day sipping Vietnamese coffee while shopping for handmade pieces. I’ll never forget this day. Thank you, ForeverVacation, for making my birthday so meaningful.
