“My cottage had a filthy front when I moved in a couple of months ago - it's on a main road and lorries, tractors etc chucking all sorts onto the walls. I did my research and decided to wash it down, use Render Cleaner Softwash then use Render & Masonry Sealer to keep it clean. What a difference! The front of my house looks like it's just been painted!!! I love it looking like this, and I am glad I decided to do this myself as it's saved me a whole heap of money. These products are excellent. I'm getting a new front door soon to complete the look and then my kerb appeal will be off the charts!”

“Considerable improvement in the look of pebbledash wall - however the dead moss is bleached but remains stubornly attached. No obvious way to remove without losing many of the pebbles.”

If you are removing moss there a few was to do it. On a relatively flat or smooth surface (like a roof) you would often scrape first, then treat with a product to kill any remaining organic growth. The alternative is to treat the moss and let it die over time - either remove the debris later or let the moss die/whither/break down and drop away over time. The issue on pebble dash is you will have to treat and wait for the moss to die, which will be obvious as it discolours over a few days/weeks. After this you will need to wait for the moss to break down and start to disintegrate. This is the only process you can follow. This product would not be our first choice to kill moss but the process would ultimately be the same - treat and wait for the moss to die and then drop away over time. Unfortunately a product which will kill moss and make it suddenly disappear does not exist!

“I wish I had taken a before and after picture. But I can confirm the transformation in 10 minutes is a miracle. It is 10 years since the house was painted white, some was ok, some e.g. around extractor outlets were black. I sprayed this on (on a warm June day which is not ideal as it only works when wet), but within 10 minutes the paint was almost back to new. Unbelievable transformation. I was going to get my house re-painted before selling, so this has saved £1000's”
