“I had my bungalow k rendered b several months ago and put my hanging baskets back up . After removing them for the winter I noticed several large stains in the render.I tried to remove them with warm water and mild detergent to no avail.I purchased the render soft wash solution and followed the instructions applying it to the stains and gave them a gentle brush with a soft bristle brush leaving it to sit for 10 minutes then rinsed it off with a garden hose the stains have disappeared I would highly recommend”

“Used this product and it actually made it worse. This was after 4 applications, increasing the time it was left on and using it neat. I ended up having to paint the render to cover up the stains. I don't recommend this product”

We had a look at the pictures that were sent in. It looks like a rust mark which has migrated down the render from an old metal window frame. As advised this could be removed using Floorseal Rust Remover for Stone. There is no reason a cleaning agent would make a mark worse on a render. It appeared to be rusting under a black mould streak. The Render Cleaner Softwash Solution is for the removal of organic contaminations only - for rust you would need to use a dedicated rust remover.

“Tried a few other products before discovering this one. WOW! You can actually see the algae disappear before your eyes. Used on white K-rend which now looks like new. So impressed that I’ll also be purchasing the patio cleaner.”

“Removed decades of grime on a renovated from derelict property, before painting. Very easy to mix and use with a simple pump sprayer. Tried to add Photo of half the wall done, but it would not let me. I would use it again”

“Good delivery time. I used the soft wash cleaner yesterday to clean the render on a renovation project. It certainly did the trick, on tyrolean walls that hadn't been cleaned or painted for decades. Very easy to apply with a small pump sprayer. I'd definitely use again and recommend. I did take a photo of the difference between a section I'd done.”

“Appled to south facing gable end with sharp pebble dash which was completely covered with black and red algae (Unfortunately no photos) Test areas with 1:5 and 1:3 dilutions both ok after soft wash of with power spray. Whole end washed with Render Cleaner 1:5, applied with pressure garden sprayer wait 20 mins, weather dull and cool so no need to keep wet/damp. Washed off with medium pressure power wash. Immediatley had excellent result, even still wet. After 24hrs dry result was very impressive looked like new render. Overall very impressive product would recommend to any one looking to improve outside renders with Algae and rain water stains. Note: wear protective clothing and face mask/eye protection, product overspray is irritant.”

“We had red stains all over the rendered walls next to our patio and had been quoted £1400 to paint them. Last ditch attempt to wash them was this stuff in a low-pressure jet washer (Ryobi one which takes from a bucket) did the trick in a matter of minutes. By using the jet washer we were able to reach about 3.5m up before it got a bit patchy. Came up good as new, couldn't believe it.”
