Inhave used the product on a relatively new silicone rendernthat has had some lines created by water passing through a batten. I have since sealed, treated and painted the batten and created a water drip, to make any water drop instead of run down the wall. The 1:3 didn't work, the 1:1 has helped but after 3 applications it looks like I will revert to paint.

This product is for the removal of organic contamination. It is not for removing staining caused by water pulling a non organic material into the face of the render. We believe there will have been an algae or mould growing on the water runs, hence some improvement. Anything being pulled into the render from the coping stones or batten would not be possible to remove - they become in affect part of the render. This cleaning solution is for the removal of organic staining only.

Didn’t do anything for my render I even put it on neat and that didn’t remove the mud that had Soaked into the render.

Unfortunately, this is not what this product is for. The product is for the removal of organic growth such as lichen, algae, mould, slime & organic black streaking. If you have mud splatter (usually at the base of the wall) the product will still often remove general dirt as its rinsed off. This is primarily due to the user rinsing the wall down at the end of the process with water i.e. its just a byproduct of the main process. Mud is often very easy to remove and generally does not require any particular type of cleaning product. But if it is fully soaked in, it has become part of the render permanently. This often happens on building sites where new build houses are splashed with mud from heavy machinery. The only resolution (if a general wash down or very light pressure washing has failed) is overpainting. The product being neat or diluted in this instance would have zero effect. Clay soils are more problematic than other types of soil/mud but sometimes can be removed with a solvent.

Haven’t used the cleaner yet but from all the positive reviews I read before buying I’m hoping it does the job I bought it for.
