“Purchased a bottle of wine along with a premium gift box for my dad's birthday present and actually went through the check out process and paid for it via Paypal, all sorted right ! A big fat no, after a couple of days they then decided I couldn't have it as they said I had to provide ID. Why on earth let you pay for it and then ask for ID at a later date??? There should be a system in place to check ID before allowing you to make a purchase in the first place. Well you have lost a customer because of this, it absoluely p*ssed me off !!”

Dear Craig, we run an automated age verification system when you place the order, however in a minority of cases this can fail, at this point we request ID from the customer in order to verify your age.
