“Excellent products from Evolution as always the case. My experience with them started with a 210mm Mitre Saw and their fine wood blade which was excellent. Picked up further tools since my good experience of that mitre saw. Now eyeing the 8AH battery to go with my cordless Evolution tools. This is a beast of a table saw - I'd advise you order the stand to go alongside this. Not experienced a table saw before, but from what I can see, good stuff.”

“I eventually ordered this saw after seeing lots of positive reviews and spending the last 25 years overcoming the shortfalls of my existing saw. I needed something that offered more precision in a small space. It arrived very promptly and all was well after checking the unit over for transit damage, missing parts, etc. Setting up was straight forward as I'd previously watched a couple of youtube videos. They were a lot more informative than the manual which is pictorial only. I took my time with a dial gauge to make sure that everything was as precise as I could make it. Out of the box it wasn't too far off at all and would probably be fine for most diyers and definitely for site work. The sled runners needed a little tweak to remove a slight sideways play, the blade tracking needed a minor adjustment along with the throat plate height and the tilt stops were fine. I'll move these further out though and rely on measuring the angles myself, dust can get in these mechanisms and make them inaccurate. A straightedge across the table from corner to corner shows a variation of around a millimetre difference. I'll compensate for this with a diy sled. I swapped the included multi-material blade with a Freud wood blade from my existing saw. This Freud blade had disappointed me in the previous machine by not being the smooth runner it had promised to be. In my new saw it runs like a dream. I've only done a few test cuts for squaring purposes but there's no complaints so far. This is a smooth and powerful machine. Two of the main reasons for buying it were the industry standard mitre slots and the rack and pinion fence. The ability to use all those aftermarket clamps, etc will both prove very useful. The overriding impression is that someone has put a lot of thought into this saw and what it would be used for. There are other site saws which are obviously only for that purpose (my previous one), but this goes further. Yes it would be fine as a site saw but it also offers a far better precision for those who want a good general purpose saw for carpentry or diy. Things like the very good dust extraction and on board tool storage (where does that second allen key go?), shows that someone has actually put time and effort into making a good usable product. At this very good value price it's hard to think of any further improvements without making the saw more expensive. As every Youtube review says the supplied mitre gauge could be a little better but when the clamp is used to hold a piece on the sliding side it seems stable enough. I would like to see a few more quick release type adjustments like the fence has for both locking and attachment. These could be used where there are currently screw down locks on the outfeed bar and the tilt locking mechanism for example. Overall I'm very pleased with this saw especially at the price I paid. It will do exactly what I want out of the box.”

“Just set the saw up and tried a few different cuts. The rack and pinion fence and sliding cross cut sled are a real bonus especially on a saw at this price. Cuts are easy and accurate. Its light enough to manouevre in my small workshop but is sturdy and steady in the cut. The multi purpose blade is fine but I have fitted the 60 t fine wood blade as I'm mainly cutting timber. It gives an excellent finish on both soft and hard woods. I would highly recommend, particulatly if you have limited space or are using on site.”
