“Fairly simple to put together and set up. Moving the motor/blade for a 45deg cut isn’t very easy, one has to put a hand underneath to move the motor as there’s too much friction to adjust it at the locking ‘end’. Fair amount of dust is ejected even though I have a really good vacuum connected (this seems to be an issue with Evolution machines as the mitre saw I also bought this year is terrible for dust even with vacuum attached). Using the table saw for an 8x4 sheet of mdf is not ideal, not really enough of a bed to balance it on but it eventually did the job.”

“The saw is well built & only needed one adjustment out off the box before I used it ( adjusted the saw blade 90deg to the table ) . Brilliant saw.”

“I wanted to upgrade from my old Elu flip saw to a stand alone table saw with the otion of better accuracy and ease of use and the R255TBL+ fits the bill perfectly It's easy to set up and use and very efficient in terms of workspace taken up The controls are all in handy and logical places and the design is very well thought out It is a pleasure to use and with addition of a higher quality third party mitre fence the ideal tool The motor is noisy so ear protection is recommended for continuous use but it's not an issue really Highly recommended and another excellent Evolution product!”

“I bought this to replace my aging Rage5-s and am not dissapointed at all. I mostly use it in my home workshop but occasionaly use it away from home. The "cage" frame feels a lot sturdier than the plastic body of the Rage5 and it's carry handles make it so much easier to transport. The outfeed support is a real plus and the rack and pinnion fence adjustment is easy to use and keeps the fence square to the blade every time.”
