The combination of features and precision engineering makes this a joy to use. I'm not a jobsite carpenter, I make custom guitars and basses in my own small workshop, so the very competent blade supplied has been replaced with a previously enjoyed much finer toothed wood blade. I may add a fine rip guide, and will certainly add the side extension support and zero clearance plate when (if?) they come back in stock. but I can't think of anything else that needs to be changed or improved except possibly the clarity of the upper fence scale. Enough power to breeze through 50 year old English walnut, beech and rock maple, great dust collection, and oh that sliding table! I love the riving blade location system, the accessibilty of all the necessary fine adjustments (although mine was 99% there out of the box) and the flip-over additional fence and, and - well, it has more than met my expectations. Congratulations, great design well executed.

I've only used it the once up to present but it seems very well built and seems very accurate. It was easy to set up even using the pictorial instruction booklet included although i understand that there a re plenty of you tube videos out there to help should you require it.

I’ve had this a few months now and I still really like it. The only (minor) thing I don’t like is the blade guard. It’s held in place by two bolts. One has a plastic wing-nut so you can undo it by hand - but I don’t understand the point of that when the second one still needs a screwdriver. Also, the wing-nut is on the rip-fence side and sticks out so far that it can stop you doing thin cuts. You can get around this by flipping over the lower-profile fence but this is a faff and, being lower, does not guide your wood so effectively. Note that if you are planning to cut grooves in wood, (as opposed to cutting all the way through) the riving knife is higher than the blade and so needs removing. To reduce the risk of a violent kick-back I strongly recommend you buy the lower-profile one which is available as an accessory.
