“It`s airport parking, surface (i.e not multi storey)it was full and we had to walk a fair distance to the terminal, practically back at the entrance before we found a space. Why do people read reviews of parking?! Check on the internet, you can see where you will be parking, get directions, pay and go and park.”

If you have overstayed the time on your booking you will be subject to pay the non pre booked rate upon exiting the car park. I would encourage you to contact your airline and seek reimbursement from them direclty.
