“As usual, about 50’% of the time, the machine at exit wanted to charge me £250 because it had not recognised my car. As usual I press the button and after a wait explain my problem. As usual the barrier is eventually raised as the guy checks that I have in fact prepaid”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

“The parking is very good, but, you should not have short posts which are
difficult to see when reversing into a space. It is too easy to scratch/bump
into these things.”
“No problems whatsoever. Number plate recognition lifted the barrier on arrival and issued a ticket. On return the ticket opened the barrier to let us out the car park. Perfect!”
“Parking is fine but it's so expensive and it's a pain to try and find a parking space. perhaps you could look at a system where you're allocated a space to save going up and down the lanes to try and find one.”
