“The terminal parking is fine and convenient. Sadly when you try to exit it seems a total nightmare most times. I booked in advance. Arrive at the exit barrier and it asks for £200. I press the button for assistance. Can’t find my number plate on the records for those dates. My phone is dead so we literally sit and wait in silence for 5 minutes while it sparks up. There are 3 exit barriers. One is closed, I’m blocking another waiting to access my emails. No record of the reference either. We explain we are looking at the booking and reference number. Silence for another few minutes. In the end with no explanation or even any words, the barrier opens and we finally can start our journey home.
No record of any booking,, yet next day they send an automated email and asked me to do this review…”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.
