“Unfortunately zero stars was not an option. Travelling with my 88 year old mother so went for the “every 10 minutes” shuttle bus option from the long stay carpark. This was stated during booking and in the subsequent email confirmation. Turns out the shuttle buses haven’t been running since Covid. Signs inside the carpark stated that there were no shuttle buses and to simply walk to the terminal building as it only takes 6 mins (assuming you are not 88 years old presumably). If only I had looked at my crystal ball beforehand….”

I can see that you reached out to our team in regards to the shuttle bus. As advised in the reply Plane Parking does have a shuttle bus however you have parked in the long stay car park which doesn't operate a shuttle bus.

“next exit point. It worked and told us we required to pay £300.00. A phone call from the exit machine was necessary before we were let through.When we arrived to pick the car up we could not get out of the extreme left hand side exit. It was not working. We tried putting our ticket into the next exit point. It told us we had to pay £300! An automated tel call to the centre was required before we were allowed through.”
Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes. I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

“I booked the long stay car park with a bus transfer but when we arrived at the car park a sign said no bus transfers we had to walk to the terminal at 3:00 in the morning. Please advise why this happened and when we returned still no bus transfer. I paid for a car park and bus transfer.”

I can see that you booked Plane Parking which does operate a shuttle but however it sounds like you have parked in the Long Stay car park which does not operate a shuttle bus.
