“I booked my parking online. I thought I was booked into 'Long Stay Parking'. I entered the Long Stay Parking and my registration was not recognised at the entrance barrier so I requested assistance who advised that I was in 'Plane Parking'. Maybe my error but I have never heard of 'Plane Parking'. However, I did as advised and reversed out of the entrance barrier area at 'Long Stay Parking' and drove round to 'Plane Parking'.
This car park has a shuttle bus to and from the terminal which was in the car park when we arrived and waited for us - great !
Upon our return late at night, the bus was at the airport stance and it took us straight back to 'Plane Parking'. I'd prepaid and exiting the car park was good - I drove up, put my ticket into the machine at the exit gate and the barrier raised and we left.
In summary: other than the parking location (maybe my fault), everything was good ! Thank you.”
“Previous two times I went with Terminal parking which was walking distance from the terminal. This time when trying to book the prices were way too high and plane parking was half the cost. Mid stay and long stay parking were also significantly higher in pricing. Therefore I decided to go with Plane Parking.
Let me compare this with Terminal, Mid & Long stay. The big bonus of plane parking is the bus service that runs every 10 min. The bus stop is towards the arrivals point at the airport (close to the start of Mid stay car park) and it's distance is approximately the same as it will take you to reach terminal parking from the arrivals exit gate. So technically if you are parked at terminal parking towards the far end and if you manage to get the bus immediately then it will take you roughly the same time to get to your car.
And since the bus stop is before mid stay car park starts it might take the same time to reach your car as mid stay parking would. But when you compare it to Long stay then I would say always choose plane parking over it - you get a bus service and also save on time that it takes to reach your car due to the bus.
So in a nutshell since the price of plane parking is always significantly less than terminal and mid stay parking this one will most likely be the better option considering it doesn't take that much longer to reach your car anyway. So save yourselves some money and go with plane parking!”
“Unable to make any changes to my booking when i realised i had used pm instead of am timing, pity anyone whose flight times get changed, they make you cancel and rebook costing considerably more!”
Thank you for your review. For future reference you are able to enter the car park later than you have booked without incurring any additional fee as long as you are still leaving on the same date/time as you have booked.
