“This was our first time using Edinburgh Airport Parking within the Multi Story which is ideal for access to the Airport itself however entering the car park area was very confusing due to having a 2 barrier entry system. We pre-booked a 2 week stay in the multi-story with fast track through security. When we arrived at the entrance barrier we collected our ticket and then headed to the Multi Story, entered our ticket into the machine there and it said that we were in the 'wrong car park' but the barriers lifted to allow us in. Thinking that we were indeed in the wrong place, we headed to the exit barrier buzzed the intercom and helpful gentleman confirmed that we were indeed in the right place. When we returned after our holiday, we tried to exit at the barrier, inserted the ticket and it said that we owed £860.00! I buzzed the intercom and the gentleman I spoke with initially could not find our booking. After several minuites, the booking was found and barriers lifted to allow us to leave the car park. Checking with my bank, we have not been charged this amount however contacted the Airport Parking Customer Service team to discuss as soon as we got home. All queries have to be submitted via an online form - there is no person to speak to directly - pending a reply.”
