“Daytime parking only this time for a visit to London. Fast-track passageway from Level 2 used for the first time and although a bit circuitous worked well. Level 2 is the most popular level for a good reason. Relearned a good lesson from 10 years ago that for a day vist to London flying to LCY would have been quicker due to scarce landing slots at LHR giving rise to delayed BA departure from EDI and stacking over LHR. The more expensive fares to LCY are balanced by the high cost of the Heathrow Express compared to the DLR.”
“If you are not from Edinburgh or a regular flyer this car park is not the easiest to find. Signage is also not great. They’r has to be more signs/directions of how to get in and out and also once you are on the car park the signage is not great for entering or exciting the car park for pedestrians. Also I prepaid ticket online for my parking and the machines are supposed to recognise your car registration which it didn’t and tried to charge me another £70 which I then had to press the buzzer on the machine. What I will say is thank god for having a member of staff on the reception because with this carpark it is well needed.”
