“The actual car parking was fine it was the exit that was the problem. When leaving we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time at the barrier because the machine was asking for £270 to exit but no one answered the buzzer for ages!! not good at 3am. 2 weeks before that coming back from London again at the barrier we were asked for £170 when it was all pre paid!!! Not a good service at all.”
Thank you for your review.
It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.
I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.
Kind regards,

“Plenty of parking spaces on arrival on departure problem with exit machine read my ticket wrong which was sorted immediately.
Already booked mid stay for September”
“Patking was so handy and so near the airport but when we drove upto the catpark it said it was full, we spoke to a guy on the intercom and he was less than helpful and so so cheeky, my husband was furious at him”
“I always use mid or long stay Parking at Edinburgh airport and have never disappointed with service provided. Stress free travel even if your flight is delayed as they providing flexible booking.”
“Used mid stay parking last week for the first time. Really easy to book online. When I got to the car park, the system didn't recognise my registration. I got help at the barrier and got a ticket for entry. Site is really well signposted and easy to find. Will use again.”
“Parked here before and like the convenience of the location. Had prepaid so on exit we were alarmed to find £375 due for 10 days of parking despite being within our times booked. A queue of traffic built up behind us while we tried to get answers so my husband moved the car to let others through. The next car had the same issue. We were told that our ticket would now be valid however he did not listen when I told him my husband had moved the car so when we tried to exit again we had the same issue with a longer wait for a response to resolve the issue. Not great when you just want to get home. Other car parks have number plate recognition and therefore do not require to present ticket, much more convenient.”
