“We had booked & paid for parking online. On arrival, the automatic number plate recognition misread our number plate, so on leaving we were asked to pay £130. Pushed the intercom button & the very helpful member of staff confirmed that we had already paid & raised the barrier for us. It was resolved in a matter of seconds. Only other comment is that the walk out to the mid stay car park from the terminal could be quite intimidating at night for a person on their own and wouldn’t be much fun in the rain.”
“On day of derpature there was a problem with being presented with a bill for the parking having paid in advance on-line. This was resolved over the intercom connection on checking my registration number. I assume that the anpr camera had not been functional.”
“Location was ideal for our early morning flight to Brussels. However, the ANPR did not open the gate upon arrival so I had to take a ticket. It didn't open upon exiting the car park either and after putting the ticket in, the machine tried to charge me £150. I buzzed for assistance, gave my car registration number and the gate was opened. No issue in the end but may be something to be wary of.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Booking was simple, when we arrived the barrier lifted no problem and there were plenty of spaces. Handy signs for you to note which section your car was in, making it easy to find on the way home. Very short walk to the airport terminal building. Coming home again, no problems, registration plate was read and barrier lifted for exit. Would definitely use again, all went very smoothly. Fair price, would have cost more to get a taxi to and from the airport.”
