“Booked well in advance so £ 48 for 6 days was good value for money. Easy walk to the terminal building. The covered walkway was useful on return as it was raining heavily. The only blip was when I came to the exit barrier and the machine asked me for £210. For some reason, it did not recognise my number. However, I used the buzzer to speak to someone who took my number, apologised and my ticket then opened the barrier. Despite this, I would use the Mid Stay car park again.”
“All fine except for the second time in succession at Edi airport parking, on exit despite prepayment it has informed me I owe several hundred pounds. Irritating and momentarily alarming. And no explanation or apologies.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration that it causes however

“Booked ahead of time in mid stay just to pick up my daughter. Booked 3 hours and it cost £29. Saw price list on arrival and without booking it’s £18 for 3 hours. Rip off. They should publish their normal prices to avoid ripping people off.”
