“Parking experience was good but for the second time we had problems at the exit barrier where I was the ticket machine indicated I had charges of £150 despite prepaying for parking several months ago.
The barrier attendant was able to clear the charges and let us leave.
This is the second time this has happened in last few months and needs investigation by the car park operator to find out why charges are be levied on prepaid customers.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration that this causes and I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

“Plenty of spaces and easy to get into, however, my number plate hasn't been recognised on my last two visits resulting in the full charge at the exit barrier when I've prebooked and already paid.
My number plate hasn't been reconfigured in anyway so don't understand why this keeps happening. This is in Mid stay and it hasn't happened in Longstay yet.”

“Easy to book and when booking is confirmed yoi are sent a confirmation email which also includes a map of where mid stay parking is located within the airport. When rrturning from holiday you just insert your ticket into the machine which lifts the barrier and you can leave. Mid stay parking is located about a 10 minute walk from terminal.”
“First of all to find the entrance for middle stay wasn't easy .
i paid for middle stay and when arrived at the parking gate the message was middle stay full so i had to park at the long stay . The area i decided to pay for parking was closer to the terminal because of use of a wheelchair ,with long stay was longer distance in night to find the car . When to get out the system didn't recognise the plate registration. Called for assistance the sticker at the making was broken and you couldn't understand a word what the assistance said, regarding that had to reverse and move to a distance barrier system to be able to be assisted with the exit. Everything wasn't a great experience in special after spending 1 hour in the Q at the security checks because this face recognise devices didn't work properly. I hope that message will help you improve the system”
Thank you for your review. As you had to park in a different car park from the one that you had booked the system wouldn't be expecting your exit from the Long Stay car park. I am glad you managed to speak to someone at the time to get the issue sorted.

“Easy to book and also to find a parking spot although busy. Only downside was that the entrance card didn't work when I left so had to phone to exit.

“Easy to purchase and book a ticket BUT you really need to refresh the blue and red footpath lines to and from the airport!
Temp barriers currently need pedestrian signs as well.”
