“Having booked a stay I was concerned at the shortage of available parking. Many vehicles outwith designated parking spaces and if it had not been for someone leaving I might well havd been in a similar position. Surely bookings for parking shouldn’t be taken beyond available spaces.”
“The parking was pre-paid but when I tried to exit the machine tried to charge £150.
Not the smooth exit I expected. It was resolved but obviously the number plate reader isn't working.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.
