“Doubt the chief executive has ever tried to wrestle a bunch of suitcases from the far end of the car park to the terminal.
Road surfaces are too rough; routing is prioritised for cars, not pedestrians; pedestrian route not covered despite Edinburgh weather; high kerbs and gravel cut off some routes back to the car park; there are no buses to the terminal in case needed; and if you want a trolley to try to make it a little easier, there’s a charge.
It’s all just second rate and not value for the exorbitant cost.”
“Car park very busy, so finding a space took some time. Found a space in the end which was as far away from the Terminal building as it was possible to be.
Car spaces very tight, considering people generally travel with bulky luggage. So getting in and out without damaging own, or adjacent cars is difficult.
Prices need to be cheaper, but you pay for convenience.”

“We usually stay in the multi-storey but the price was so high for the time we wanted that we decided to try the long stay. It was a longer walk but wasn’t too difficult to do and there was a choice of parking spaces.
It maybe took longer to leave as you have to turn right into queueing traffic that’s stationary a lot because of traffic lights but was all worth it for the price difference. Will definitely use again. Great helpful staff when button pressed to help with queries as no number to call on booking”
“I use the car park anytime I fly from Edinburgh which is usually a couple of times a year. I am a travel agent and therefore also offer this out to all my clients as it is a fantastic car park. However, on my last visit, I had a couple of issues that I had never had happen before that ruined my pleasant experience. When I first entered, there was no one else behind me, after 30 seconds a car appeared right at the back of me which looked like it was car park maintenance. The driver was a man, ginger hair with a beard who looked like was driving aggressively behind me as I was trying to find a space to park. He had opportuniites to drive down another lane but proceeded to follow me. Once I found a space, I reversved in confidently depsite the pressure I felt with him behind, after I was half way into the space, he revved the engine and speeding right by. Another issue I had, was when I was exiting the car park after I landed back home. I was driving out and put my ticket in the barrier, which normally it just opens automatically. I put the ticket into the machine, and it said I owed £180 even though I had pre booked for the duration of my stay. I pressed the help button, and a man offered no apology but he did allow me to exit the barrier after asking for my car registration plate. There was no customer service here, and I really put a downer on the end to my holiday. I will probably not be back here now after this.”
