“However I paid in full the parking charge, when I wanted to exit from the parking, the machine said that I had to pay £175. I called the assistant and finally he opened the gate.”
“Very few spaces left a long walk to the terminal.
The shelters remaining from the now defunct bus service were an absolute disgrace with rubbish bins overflowing & one with barriers randomly thrown in.
The only vague positive about the whole experience was the, relative to the other expensive parking options, cheap-ish price.
The only reason I would use this again would be the lack of a better option.”
“Parking location in the long stay car park was ideal with only a short walk to the terminal. Only issue was on returning to the airport it was raining heavily and the car park was flooded with very deep puddles all over the car park and clearly poor drainage. Not ideal dragging suitcases through water and driving for several hours with soaked feet! Would have been nice to have a covered walkway in to the long stay car park but improved drainage would help.”
“It was hard to find a space we have used parking facilities at the airport for the last 8 years. Every year, the price goes up-and-up, and up eventually, we ll have to find an alternative place to park rather than Edinburgh Airport too expensive.”
“Only a 10 minute walk from the airport terminal. Have used this car park a few times as its quite convenient but is a little more expensive but I thought it was worth it. Only gripe is some people can't park properly and end up using 2 spaces.”
“It is highly inconvenient and very concerning that, when leaving the airport's Arrivals area, there are no (or insufficient) signs on view, indicating the directions to walk to the various car parks. Other airports make it much clearer how to find the car parks. At this airport the car parks are reached in different directions and no clear signs are provided until much nearer to the car parks. This needs to be rectified now, to avoid causing further inconvenience to passengers.”
