Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them.
The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations.
Our team are aware that during adverse weather puddles can form within the walking route. We are currently looking into the most suitable solution to rectify the issue. Please accept our apologises for any inconvenience caused.

“We booked Plane Parking a few days before we flew. When we got to the airport and drove to Plane Parking it was shut. Why was this not indicated on the website? A helpful man on the intercom directed us to the Long stay Car Park. We were aware that there is no transport from it and endeavoured to find the path to the Terminal. There are no signs at all to indicate the path, so we walked along the road, no pavement, to the Terminal. Luckily we had plenty of time to catch our plane! At the end of the taxi rank we saw the sign for the path, so at least we knew where to go coming back. We had very little luggage, but if you had a reasonable amount and cases with wheels the path would be very difficult to negotiate. Driving out, it was chaos, with road works and very few signs to help. If you were a visitor it would have been stressful trying to leave the Airport. Edinburgh Airport car parking is not fit for purpose!”

I can confirm this is stated on our website that the plane parking is closed and when passengers book this facility it states in the email confirmation that they have been upgraded to the long stay car park.
