“Why do we not have buses taking us to the airport from the parking area. It is ok if it doesn’t rain. I call it penny pinching considering what we pay to park.”

Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations. For future reference we do have a shuttle bus that operates from Plane Parking, this may be of use to you.

“Good location and price but no shuttle bus to the terminal mean a bit of a hike with cases over a rough surface which wasn't great which also damaged a case wheel. Also, no clear signage or dedicated walkway to the terminal leaves a lot of folks walking around looking for the way out. A smooth dedicated walkway would be a good addition.”

Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them.

“First time I have used the Long Stay parking for a while so it is a shame the shuttle service has gone. However, the pedestrian route to/from the terminal is clear enough to follow (though the point of access could maybe be signposted a bit more clearly so that it can be picked out from further away. Also, the signposting & road markings to indicate the route to the Exit could maybe do with a refresh - but I admit I was maybe not at my sharpest at 2am after a late flight. These are just observations and overall no complaints - still an extremely useful facility.”
“Good value for a week's parking and, assuming you are fit enough to drag your bags a few hundred metres over at times rough-ish ground, it's very handy. As others have observed, the area is well-lit at night, although still could have a 'lonely' feel at that time. My main criticism would be that, in spite of the large number of signs pointing in various directions proclaiming 'Exit', it's still not clear whether these indicate a pedestrian exit or a car exit, and it's even less clear exactly where the terminal is. I had read reviews that you had to exit the car park to the north (which is correct) and even took a compass, which actually proved useful for confirming which way to start walking. That should not be necessary however. What about some large signs saying 'Walking route to airport terminals' for example? It's not that difficult. Overall, this car park is a good option for the fit and mobile, but have a rain jacket/umbrella on standby, and give yourself plenty of time.”
