Parked for 5 nights on a Sunday - the assistant on phone told us that the bus service didn't run on a Sunday. NO CHOICE BUT TO WALK TO TERMINAL - I AM 76! Returned on Friday evening about 7pm, no bus available, the assistant on phone said the service does not now run at all NO CHOICE BUT TO WALK - I AM STILL 76! PLEASE ADVISE IF THE BUS SERVICE STILL RUNS AS WE ARE REPEATING THE TRIP IN NOVEMBER.

Thank you for your review. Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

When I booked the long stay car park I didn't realise that buses no longer took you from the carpark to the terminal and that you had now to walk. The paths were a disgrace covered in potholes and large puddles. The lighting was poor to say the least and after the hastle involved getting to the baggage hall the last thing you need is to walk along an unlit path through puddles in the pouring rain at 3am. Wont fly from Edinburgh again if I can help it

Good to have a cheap option for airport parking. Lighting could be better at night. Signage to airport also could be better

Lots of puddles so you'll get wet walking to/ from the terminal - especially at night. Otherwise safe secure parking

The Long Stay car park at Edinburgh Airport is walking distance from the terminal, which is just as well given that no shuttle bus service is provided. Unfortunately, the walking path is uneven and potholed and as it was raining when I returned I had some difficulty avoiding a lot of quite deep puddles. Having booked in advance, I expected a ticket to be generated on arrival, but the camera failed to recognise my number plate and it wasn't, so I had to press the button for a ticket to open the barrier. On attempting to leave the car park, having inserted the ticket, I was asked to pay again! Fortunately, I was able to call for assistance via the intercom and the customer service agent was very helpful and kindly let me leave. In summary, the car park is conveniently located and the customer service agents are helpful and friendly, but the numberplate recognition system is faulty, there is no shuttle bus, the carpark needs resurfacing and the path to the terminal needs improvement (with better signage and a covered walk-way).

Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes. I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Only used this car park to pick up daughter. Cheaper paying like this than paying £1 per min after 30 mins!!
