“We were pre-booked but when we arrived the gate said it was closed / full - but the attendant through the assistance intercom let us in. It took really a long time to find a space, and people were parking in really silly ways/places presumably running out of time for their flight. I would expect a pre-booked parking to have availability, I think we only got a space because somebody else left. It’s safe though and an easy walk to the terminal.”

“Ok but signage from carpark to terminal good but when you come out of arrivals, not signs other way in order to find right car park! I had to go to main road and follow road signs alone in early hours of the morning.”

“Have used the Long Stay Parking a good number of times. Has been the odd occasion that the number plate recognition hasn’t clocked my number plate on entry but on exit after pressing the assistance button they always find my booking with no issues. My only concern recently is the extremely poor parking from others. People are leaving their cars on the junctions, the middle of the road, parked up on kerbs or simply making up their own spaces - this really needs to be looked at to prevent people from abandoning cars in dangerous places.”

We are aware that customers are leaving their vehicles out with the designated parking bays and we are working with the relevant teams to monitor this. Its disappointing to see that some customers are causing obstructions for other customers, if customers are finding it difficult to find a space we will always provide alternative parking option if they ring the barrier.
