“Been using this since June 2020 was previously using a spray SPF they have nothing on this, quickly become a real staple piece in my routine. White as you apply It but absorbs in quickly and leaves no white cast behind. Lovely soft texture smells amazing and lasts well, really benefiting my skin, leaving a healthy glow now I won't go a day without applying.”
“I found only cons rather than pros using this sunscreen. First of all cast, one of the castiest sunscreen I ever used. Second it doesn't absorb, so it feels kinda greasy on your skin and what bugs me most hair sticks to it. But this sunscreen really gentle, so I use it mostly after facials and that stuff. Unfortunately no way to return once it was open, but I definitely will not repurchase it.”
“I discovered this in the first lockdown (March 2020) we’re now going into feb 21 and I honestly wouldn’t use another sunscreen. I have had acne prone skin since I was a teen, I’m now 26 and this works perfectly for me. I don’t break out with it, it’s not too light or too heavy, it’s just perfect, smells amazing and I love the way my make up (bare minerals) just sits on top of it! It’s miraculous”
“Having heard Dr Sam on the Outspoken Beauty podcast I decided to try the range. She said that sunscreen was the single best thing to apply for our skin.
I love this sunscreen- the amount seems a lot but it has definitely helped my skin to look and feel softer, healthier and smoother with dark and rough spots all but disappearing. Cannot be without it now.”
“This was recommended to me by Gothamista. I was looking for a comforting sunscreen for my dry skin, and I’m sadden to say this is not it. I’m so mad at myself for not reading the ingredients list. I hate zinc oxide and this sunscreen was not an exception. It’s drying and it pills a little, especially around my nose. What is it about zinc oxide that makes sunscreens drying but extremely suffocating (occlusive) at the same time!? The only plus is that it doesn’t irritate my skin. But taking into account all the gorgeous sunscreens out there, this is a no-no. I guess if your skin is not that dry, you could enjoy it. Not a bad product, just not for me.”
“I really wanted to love this but I live in Australia so amazing sunscreen is a must! The amount I had to use to get 50spf meant it left a white cast (even though I’m pale), was greasy and really heavy feeling. I never got burnt using it but my hyper-pigmentation definitely reared it’s head when I used this compared to other sunscreens I’ve used. The worst bit is it blocked my pores and gave me little pimples when ever I used it under makeup. I love Dr. Sam but I think it’s exceptionally hard to get a physical sunscreen to feel like a chemical sunscreen and this one just didn’t work in sweaty, sun baked Australia.”
“I really struggle to find sunscreen that isn’t too heavy and doesn’t break me out. I have oily skin and wound avoid wearing spf everyday for this reason. Dr Emma suggested this to me and I’ve never looked back. I love the texture and the way it absorbs into your skin - also not a single breakout! I have also used it on holiday and didn’t get a single burn”
