“Whilst there isn't anything *wrong* with this sunscreen, it didn't meet my high expectations. It does leave a white cast (I have a light skin tone) and it did dry my skin out after using it for a few days in a row. I have tried Dr Sam's Gossamer too and unfortunately that one dries my skin out too (and it stings too!). I'll be sticking to all chemical sunscreens for now as those never dry my skin out or sting.”
“I like that this doesn’t cause me any irritation - which most chemical sunscreens do. I find 1.5 pumps absorbs okay but applying the recommended full 3 pumps I find just too much product to rub in, not to mention time consuming. I don’t mind the finish with 1.5 pumps - not too shiny/ not too matt - but I find it pills in my hairline and in my eyebrows and with the full recommended amount applied there’s considerable white cast/ stickiness”
“I am surprised to read so many reviews saying this sunscreen isn’t greasy and doesn’t leave a white cast. What? It’s the opposite for me . Very sticky and greasy looking, and an obvious white cast. Will go back to my Korean sunscreens with more elegant formulas and much lower price tag.”
“This is a lovely sunscreen, feels like a moisturiser but does take a bit of rubbing in to absorb fully. It doesn’t pill on my skin, and foundation goes over really well. My only reservation is the guidance on quantity - 3 pumps in order to apply the correct spf!! It’s a lot and I wonder how long the bottle will last...”
“Finally a face sunscreen that isn't sticky and doesn't clog my skin. It goes on really smooth and sits on the skin nicely, it feels just like a regular moisturizer rather than sunscreen. Love it! Have re ordered 3 times.”
“I was eagerly looking forward to wearing this sunscreen as I had seen nothing but raving positive reviews. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. I have a very deep complexion and there was a very clear white cast when I used the recommended amount of product. I proceeded to use less to see if it would blend in better & the same result ensued. The formulation itself is quite a thick moisturiser consistency and felt heavy on my very oily skin. I had to wear the sunscreen with makeup due to the white cast & my face felt quite heavy similar to a full face of makeup. Definitely not for deeper skin tones & I would apply caution if your skin type is oily.”
“This SPF is literally off the charts amazing!!
In the morning when I have my daily routine (which includes the brightly serum which too is soooooo good) the SPF glides on your skin it’s not thick which you would expect from a sun protector... then my make up layers beautiful over everything perfectly!! Ready for my day!”
“I have recently started using this sunscreen after switching from another brand and I am not disappointed! Goes on so well and I usually leave it for about 15 minutes to absorb before applying makeup. It feels more like a moisturiser than traditional sunscreen, which is lovely.”
