“I was really upset about the serum's texture. There are some small crystals, that stay on the skin (and at the pillow). I can't use it because of this texture.”
“I enjoyed the texture of the serum and was pleased to be able to use it on my neck without irritation. However, something in the formula flared dermatitis on my face. I think it may be the very high concentration of Niacinamide at 10%. Within 2 days of stopping use my skin went back to normal. My patch test was fine and I've used both gentle retinoids and azeliac acid (combined) in the past with no issues. I will use the product up on my neck, but won't be repurchasing, because I don't like having different products in my routine for face and neck. The point of purchasing was to streamline my night routine. I was surprised to see such a high percentage in a product that is marketed to cater to somewhat sensitive skin. Regardless, it's a nice one-and-done night treatment, if your skin can handle the high % of Niacinamide, but just not for me.”
“I still love using Flawless Nightly, though I'm tempted to try the Pro version, as I still get the odd breakout but don't have any sensitivity or irritation anymore from this version and feel I might be ready to move on to something stronger. Very easy to use and has made a big difference to my skin's appearance. It took a while, but it has also reduced the lines on my forehead a little bit :)”
“The serum is excellent. My dry and sometimes sensitive skin tolerates it well. My skin definitely looks better when I use it. One star off because of the packaging. The pump occasionally stops pumping out the serum, making it appear as if the bottle is empty, but after a lot of vigorous shaking it starts working again and there's plenty there. If they could use recyclable packaging and fix the occasional issue with the pump, I would give it five stars. I've noticed my most recent bottle of Brightly has a different bottle and pump which seems much better so I am hopeful this will eventually be used for the Nightly as well.”
“This is my first time using a retinol and I was surprised not only by how clear and bright it made my skin look but also how little irritation there was. In the first few weeks my skin occasionally felt dry towards the end of the day but nothing unbearable. It has helped massively in making my skin look and feel smoother as well as dealing with breakouts quickly. Although it is pricey it is worth it because of the amount of skin benefits it provides.”
