“I was sceptical of this initially. There is so much hype on TT about it ans often I find that ‘viral’ products don’t live up to their name, with my skin type.
I suffer from melasma, pigmentation left from acne scars, and also ‘teenage spots’ even though I’m pushing 40.
Mu skin seemed to really decline from the age of about 35, I started getting lots of blemishes, more pimples, and dark spots. I tried numerous products, some prescribed and some over the counter, but I found they either didn’t work at all or they inflamed my skin more.
I’ve finally managed to find a good skincare routine which is very basic. I feel that less is more for me.
However I do still get the odd spot which can be quite sore and stubborn to get rid of.
I was intrigued about this product and all the rave reviews so I thought I’d try it out.
I contacted Dr Sam’s customer service and explained the products I am already using (including prescription grade retinoid at night) to check that I could introduce this product. I for a very swift reply advising that I could add it in to my AM routine as I use no actives.
Anyway….WOW! I’m so impressed with this. It has brightened my skin, even my partner noticed how good my skin looked and he never pays attention to that sort of thing. I had a persistent spot on my chin which I used this on and it cleared up within a couple of days.
I also had a rather large spot appear on my back, it was angry, inflamed and very sore to touch. I’m a picker…I know I shouldn’t!!…but I resisted and just applied this product twice a day and it has almost gone in just under a week. Usually this would take a couple of weeks for that kind of spot to go .
I cannot praise this enough! I am definitely fully invested in this product and it will become a staple in my skincare routine.

“I don't think this is actually that good in terms of a spot treatment. I never really notice a difference in my spots when I use this over night. I am using this more as a serum as it has 5% azeliac acid and the 'brightly serum' has 10% which broke me out. Hopefully this will work better for me. This does not dry me out at all though which is good!”
