“The colour of this is ok for my skin but I am amazed by the number of pumps suggested. After just 2 pumps my skin is absolutely plastered in the stuff, to the point where it is actually impossible to rub it in and it just sits like a thick paste on my skin. I have no idea how I’m supposed to use 6 pumps!”
Hi there, we’re sorry to hear about the issue with the pumps and how heavy the product felt. Flawless Gossamer Tint is hydrating enough for many people to use without a moisturiser, though if your skin is feeling dry you may wish to apply a light moisturiser beforehand. For best results, we recommend applying the tint in two layers using around three pumps per layer. This allows the product to absorb properly and helps you achieve an even finish. Dr Sam’s 13 Dot Technique is especially helpful when applying this product. It gives a really natural, flawless look and ensures even coverage. “I’m really glad I bought this. At first i was worried about the texture of it cos it looks a bit slick but it glides on and settles on your skin so nicely. Great light / medium coverage too so it’s now all I use along with a bit of concealer”

“I was abit disappointed with this product as it left a very shiny residue.
I had to blot it off as it was way too much shine.. I followed the 6 pumps guide then reduced to 3 to see if that gave a less shiny finish, this helped. The colour and texture is good overall and my skin felt great but the shiny residue has put me off this product. Its a shame as love everthing else about it.”

“Whilst the actual product is great, unfortunately the pump action container lets this product down significantly. The cream is great, coverage is lovely, but it's impossible to get out of the tube without removing the lid each time as the pump action doesn't work. First world problem but annoying considering the price point, and advice to use 6 pumps for adequate SPF coverage.”
Hi Lydia, thank you so much for this feedback, we're really sorry to hear about the issue you’ve experienced with the pump mechanism. It’s lovely to know you're enjoying the product and finding the coverage to your liking, but we completely understand how disappointing it is when the packaging doesn’t live up to expectations. We recommend squeezing the tube whilst expressing the pump at the same time, to eliminate any air. It should then work smoothly, as the pump will not express any product if there is air trapped here. Pushing the product towards the pump should also help the pump to work properly (like you would with toothpaste!)
